Shirley Buxton is a prolific scribbler, who writes almost daily and tends three blogs. She is a five-time published author. Ideas for a couple more rattle around in her head, and shoved in the back of one of her desk drawers is a completed novel, that at some time may be shown about. Shirley is a serious amateur photographer and has also been known to whip up a tasty biscuit or two.

She and her late husband, Rev. Jerry Buxton, were in the ministry together for sixty-four years, founding churches, pastoring, and being heavily involved in missions. She is extremely proud of their four godly children, and their fine mass of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
